Megastar Chiranjeevi’s elder daughter Sushmita Konidela floated her own banner Gold Box Entertainments. She is coming up with a small-budget film titled Sridevi Shoban Babu.
This rural drama film, written and directed by Prasanth Kumar, is the first feature film from Sushmita Konidela’s banner, Gold Box Entertainments. Prior to this, she produced OTT content which didn’t create big impact in the streaming industry.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is usually very cooperative when it comes to encouraging new banners and new talents, has kept himself away from his daughter’s maiden venture. He has not shown any kind of support to promote Sushmita’s movie.
We don’t know the exact reason behind this, but there is a talk in the industry say that the makers already know the fate of the film, and they don’t want Chiru gets a bad name that the film didn’t succeed despite his promotions.
But if that was the matter, Chiru has promoted many films from small directors, actors, and banners in the past, which failed badly at the box office. So this reason doesn’t sound convincing.
