Megastr ChiranjeeviThere is a stalemate in the Telugu film industry not because of the second wave but because of the ticket rates problem in Andhra Pradesh. Each and everyone in the industry is feeling the pinch but no one is coming forward to reach out to Jagan Mohan Reddy Government and resolve the issue.

Megastar Chiranjeevi has the additional responsibility in this issue being ‘Industry’s Pedda Dhikku’ after Dasari Narayana Rao. After the change of Government in Andhra, Chiranjeevi went to Amaravati along with his wife and wished the Chief Minister.

The issue first happened during Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab release. Chiranjeevi did not talk to Jagan for his brother and is not doing it for the industry. When Telangana chamber is proactively pursuing similar issues with Telangana Government, there is nothing happening in AP side.

Chiranjeevi himself has Acharya which will need a release date in two weeks. The biggies in industry need some motivation to announce their release dates. If someone takes the first step, all the others will follow. Once the biggies are lined up for release, the pressure will be on the Government from all quarters to resolve the issue.

Chiranjeevi should either lead a contingent to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister or pressurize indirectly by announcing the release date of his film (followed by others). Chiranjeevi will have deep pockets to hold Acharya forever but that is not in the best interest of the industry.
