Chiranjeevi VinayakMegastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya has turned out to be a resounding hit. Unperturbed by the disastrous reviews, the film scored brilliantly due to the mass flavor, fresh star cast, and festival season. Veerayya turned out to be Chiru’s biggest hit post his comeback in 2017.

But it can’t be denied that Waltair Veerayya was full of mindless scenes crammed with cringe comedy and over-the-top illogical drama that made no sense.

If reports are to be believed, after completing Mehar Ramesh’s Bhola Shankar, Chiru has finalized a massy project with his long-time associate VV Vinayak. They have delivered films like Tagore and Khaidi No. 150 in the past. There were also rumors that VV Vinayak directed a major portion of Stalin as well.

Their combination has mostly been successful, and Chiranjeevi expects that they will carry this legacy with their upcoming film as well. Maybe Chiru feels that Vinayak can deliver another mass-pleasing film, like Waltair Veerayya.

We can still be hopeful because VV Vinayak perfectly understands how to project Chiranjeevi in the massiest way but also sensibly. VV Vinayak’s last film was the atrocious ‘Inttelligent.’ So he also needs to prove himself all over again, and this project can turn out to be his best shot.
