Megastar Chiranjeevi’s First Historical film, Sye Raa Telugu Version is going great guns at the Box Office in the First Weekend of its release. Chiranjeevi is a delighted man as the movie also got him a lot of adulation for his performance but then still there is a disappointment for the Megastar.
The movie has failed miserably in the other Languages. In Hindi, the movie could not even garner a paltry 7-8 Crore Nett and its run would effectively end today. This came as a shock because the Reviews of the film from Bollywood Critics are largely positive and even that could not bring the audience to the theatres.
The makers had to blame themselves for this performance. Chiranjeevi is not a popular actor in the North markets and it would need a full thrust Publicity campaign to push it to the audience there. But the makers have disappeared ever since the movie release and that has affected the film.
Passion for a film is not only making a good product but also about marketing it aggressively. Sye Raa Team failed in the Second Part and that has ruined the film’s chances in other Languages. Now, the Telugu Version has to do all the hard work of getting the film nearer to the 200 Crore Share mark to make it a hit.
