The Third Wave in India has brought uncertainty once again for Indian Cinema. We are supposed to see a slew of big releases from Sankranthi to Summer but everything has changed all of sudden. The postponement has started with RRR and Radhe Shyam.
Now, Megastar Chiranjeevi‘s Acharya announced for February 4th is also postponed. “Due to the ongoing widespread of COVID, the Release of Acharya is Postponed. A new release date would be announced soon,” the Acharya team announced.
Meanwhile, the makers of Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati‘s Bheemla Nayak have released a new poster of their film on the occasion of Sankranthi. The poster has both the stars oozing attitude. Interestingly, it still carried the release date ‘February 25th’.
Since February 25th is more than 40 days to go, it looks like the makers are in no hurry for the postponement and are playing a waiting game. If there is no night curfew and 50% occupancy rule by then, we may see Bheemla Nayak being the first biggie to release after the Omicron scare.
