Chiranjeevi & Balakrishna Trying For Price Hike In Andhra PradeshTwo top tier biggies Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy are gearing up for theatrical release next Sankranthi season. They are hoping to make the most of the lucrative Sankranthi season.

As per the latest buzz, Mythri Movie Makers who are funding both these projects are trying for a ticket price hike of Rs 50 in Andhra Pradesh for both films.

They are also said to be trying hard to acquire permission for 6 shows per day, which could greatly boost the box office returns prospects of both the biggies.

This isn’t the ideal situation for ticket price hikes, given the depleting footfalls, but the makers of the Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna starrers are hoping for the best as Sankranthi season is usually lucrative one with high footfalls.

The ball is in Andhra Pradesh government’s court now and the final call is expected to be taken soon as Veera Simha Reddy is up for release on 12th January and Veerayya is releasing on 13 Jan.

If these two films do get ticket price hikes and extra shows, then they could be looking forward to a fruitful Sankranthi if the content is good.
