‘Chubby cheeks dimple chin’ Priety Zinta is now being seen with red faced and in deep depression with failure of her movie ‘Ishqk in Paris’ and media reports about issuance of non-bailable warrant issued by a court in Mumbai in a cheque bounce related case.
38 years old Preity Zinta produced and acted in the movie but it was a big failure at the box office. Audience bluntly rejected the Preity’s movie. Rumours spread in Bollywood that she was not in a position to clear remunerations and pending bills with regard to movie. There is an evidence for the rumours also.
Dialouge writer of the movie Abbas Tyrewala filed the case after a cheque of Rs 18.9 lakh was bounced. “The court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Zinta,” confirmed Prety’s advocate Ratneshwar Jha. Media has given lot of prominence for this news but the Preity did not like it.
Like many politicians, she also blamed the media and tweeted that her version was not properly carried. “Dear Media, please investigate stories involving celebrities properly before being in a rush to carry it for TRP as you’re indulging in defamation,” Zinta tweeted. But she ignored the fact the news was confirmed by her own advocate.
Preity who acted in Rajakumarudu with Mahesh and Premante Idera with Venkatesh in Telugu stopped actiing in 2003 afer the release of Hindi movie Kal Ho Naa Ho. She concentrated in IPL cricket and became owner of Punjab team. She tested her glamour in vain with Ishqk in Paris after a gap of ten years. Audience proved that they don’t love her at this age.
