Change Of Stance For Balakrishna - Worth The Risk?Nandamuri Balakrishna enjoys a mass hero image and fittingly enough, he is mostly seen in mass masala commercial entertainers which are high on his trademark fight sequences.

Not so long ago, he tried something new with Paisa Vasool, a stylish actioner helmed by Puri Jagannadh. Puri showcased Balakrishna in a new avatar and also infused a fair deal of comedy into the narrative. However, this film tanked at the box office. And it needs to be said that comedy is not Balakrishna’s cup of tea.

But that isn’t stopping the Nandamuri hero from experimenting around. It is heard that he is in talks with Anil Ravipudi and Venky Kudumula for his upcoming projects. Anil had already narrated his script to Balayya and the latter green signalled the same. Even Venky has prepared a comedy oriented subject for Balakrishna.

Both Anil and Venky rely heavily on comedy to present their stories and they are said to have come up with comedy oriented scripts for Balakrishna. But given the fact that comedy isn’t exactly Balakrishna’s forte, it would more or less be a gamble if he takes these two projects onto the floors. Will it be worth the risk? Only time will tell.

Balayya is presently busy with Akhanda which is in final phase of shoot. He will be collaborating with Gopichand Malineni for his next. He will take the final call on films with Anil Ravipudi and Venky Kudumula only after he wraps up his current commitments.
