Veteran director P Vasu who has been in industry for more than two decades hit the peak of his career with the blockbuster remake Chandramukhi starring Rajinikanth. Although he had directed the same film earlier in Kannada it was the remake with the Tamil Superstar that took him to a whole new level and gave him new opportunities again. Post the film however he has never tasted a success on the similar level.

Now, after a long time the director has again been roped in to direct a remake. This time it will be for a Kannada film starring Ravichandran. It was the actor’s choice to get the director on board and no prizes for guessing why the actor chose the director. Well it was because the director was mighty impressed with the way P Vasu has executed the remake of Chandramukhi. The veteran actor feels confident that Vasu could once again repeat the magic for the Kannada remake of Drishyam. With the Kannada remake officially now Drishyam is going to be made in the three South Indian languages as well.
