chandrababu naidu-on-to-one-more-difficult-targetAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu created history by collecting over 31000 acres of land by land pooling scheme and this is the biggest voluntary land acquisition in Independent India. Even the central government had decided to implement this model several of its infrastructure projects.

Now the neighbouring Karnataka State is also looking to replicate Andhra Pradesh’s success in Amaravati model to push the much-delayed integrated satellite township at Bidadi in Ramanagar district on the outskirts Bengaluru.

The state government had sent a team of officials to study the Amaravati model. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah wants to implement this model of land procurement as AP’s Land Pooling scheme is less cumbersome and inexpensive.
