Lakshmi Manchu is gung ho about her upcoming film ‘Chandamama Kathalu’, which she feels will make other industries take notice of Telugu cinema. We always cry that our industry doesn’t produce sensible cinema but here’s a film that will draw the attention of other industries towards Telugu. It will place our industry on the pedestal she said.
Lakshmi is extremely happy that she’s part such a wonderful project and equally glad that she got an opportunity to work in the film. She added that it’s an independent film that’s fresh in its thoughts. The film’s trailer which was released on Monday has received good response so far. The film also features senior actor Naresh, Richa Panai, Krishnudu and Aamani in important roles.
Lakshmi had also recently bought some stakes in the film as she really liked it and wanted to take a risk with an offbeat film.
