Despite being a favourable genre for young hero Nithiin, his latest release Chal Mohan Ranga is going the same way commercially as his last outing LIE. The release timing has hurt it badly, and the weak talk didn’t help the cause.
Chal Mohan Ranga did open reasonably well considering the pre-release buzz and on-going Rangasthalam wave. However, the not so favourable word of the mouth escalated the downward slide pretty fast after the initial. The weekend has not seen any growth where it is doing okay, and in the areas where it was bad, the progress has been towards worse.
Nithiin has a good follow up of films ahead and is likely to score a success soon. But for actress Megha Aakash, the future looks bleak. The pair has been universally appreciated, but somehow, the box office success seems to elude them.
