Satish Shetty, founder-CEO of a Seattle-based Codeproof Technologies, has recently launched a website, named www.MomMissing.org, to find his mother. Shetty’s mother, Malathi, went missing in June from their ancestral home in Kundapur taluk’s Korgi village. The CEO declared a 1 lakh reward on any credible information about his mother almost 10 days ago via the instant messaging app Whatsapp.
He also spread the word through an email which said that it has already been 45 days and there’s still no news about his mother. Mentioning that his father, Kedoor Bhaskar Shetty, is a retired schoolteacher whose health is also deteriorating now, Mr. Shetty asked to share the news via any medium to find her.
According to a post in his website, his mother left the house at about 1.30pm on 24th June and has been missing since then. The Seattle-based CEO rushed to India in July to boost the search process.
