The construction of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project, L&T wants the Central government to interfere over the ongoing spat between Telangana government and the company over the project design. The company has sent in a high level team to Union urban development ministry and the Union finance ministry and explained them that how any modification to the project at this stage is not at all advisable.
The works at various locations like Legislative Assembly, Mozam Jahi Market etc were stalled due to the rift and L&T wants the Center to enter in between and resolve the issue at the earliest so that the work can be resumed at the earliest. These issues will be taken up for discussion at the meeting convened by the Union finance secretary at New Delhi on July 25. Officials from L&T and HMR as well as Union urban development ministry will participate in the meeting.
