Solo Brathuke So Better - TheatresThe Telugu film industry will be looking for better things to happen this Christmas in a year marred by the complete closure of theaters for a major part of it. Sai Dharam Tej’s Solo Brathuke So Better will be the first notable release after the COVID-19 break as the movie releases tomorrow.

The English and Telugu versions of Wonder Woman 1984 and Ram Gopal Varma‘s Murder released today. Even as three films are releasing this weekend, only around 60% of theaters are re-opening in both the Telugu States. Many Suresh Group and Stand-alone Theaters will remain shut until Sankranthi mostly due to no feeding.

Theaters belonging to Dil Raju, UV Creations, Geetha, and a very few standalone theaters where there are no other options are opening for Christmas. So, the complete re-opening of the theaters will happen only for Sankranthi. The trade will not rush into re-opening and will hope everything will go as planned.

They will earnestly hope that there are no more surprises in the name of new strains and some more Lockdowns from here. Two OTT releases – Orey Bujjiga and V are releasing for New Year’s eve. It has to be seen if they can bring the audience to the theaters to fill the void.
