Playback singer Hemachandra, who happens to be the cousin of singer Karunya, has been engaged to his co-singer Sravani Bhargavi. If reposrts are to be believed, the duo got engaged on the 9th of December in Hyderabad.
Hemachandra, born in Hyderabad, has been trained in Carnatic music under his mother Vedala Sasikala Swamy and Hindustani music at Government Music College in Hyderabad and caught the audience’ eye after he became second runner-up on TV singing reality show in 2005. Sravani, on the other hand, was the runner-up on singing competition ‘Sapta Swaralu’ and is a person with multiple talents which includes being is a dubbing artist, radio jockey, lyricist as well as a playback singer.
The couple who have been reportedly seeing each other for the past few years, are planning to get wedded on the Valentine’s Day that is February 14th, 2013.
