SS Rajamouli’s RRR has created history. The movie has become the first Telugu film to have got an Oscar nomination. Naatu Naatu from the movie is nominated in the Best Song category.
Rajamouli and his team scripted history with this but then, there are some media houses who tried to pull down Rajamouli and RRR right from the day the movie was released.
Belittling the movie content and downplaying its box office success is one thing, but these media houses remained in denial mode even when the West started appreciating the film.
From Netflix’s success to the wild appreciation of the movie, they said everything is staged. And then came the answer with the Oscar nomination for Naatu Naatu. But then, they still struggle to accept.
Now they say the RRR Oscar nomination is for Keeravani and Chandrabose.
Technically, Keeravani and Chandrabose will have Oscar to their name (if it wins), but we all know it is all about Rajamouli’s vision and the hard work of NTR and Ram Charan complimented by the team.
But why should someone have a problem with Rajamouli? After all, he is making the Telugu race and country proud.
The problem is with Rajamouli’s caste. These media houses are rabid casteists who thrive on Kamma hatred and can not see someone from the community rising. For them, anyone from that community doing anything exceptional is a problem.
Even Rajamouli who never flaunts anything about his community or anything gives heartburn to these people.
Rajamouli’s RRR becomes Chandrabose’s RRR for them. While they cry, Brand Rajamouli will continue to soar!
