Recent Hindi blockbuster Queen will soon have remakes in Tamil and Telugu. The remakes will be supervised by Vikas Bahl, who had directed the original. But ever since the remake was announced several southern names of actresses have been considered to fill in the shoes of Kangana, who impressed one and all with her performance in the film.
Actresses names such as Shruti Haasan and Samantha have been considered for the lead role but according to an insider from the industry the makers are yet to finalize on the leading lady for the remake. The buzz is that Suresh Productions will produce the remake along with a big studio from Bollywood. We have to wait for official confirmation but going by the latest news, the remake is one but we have wait a little longer to find out about the cast and crew.
We have to see how our audience will accept a full-length women-centric film, which has always been a rarity in our industry.
