Case Filed Against Samantha's Item SongSamantha Ruth Prabhu’s maiden item number “Oo Antava” has courted controversy. The much-talked-about song which has garnered millions of views on YouTube has landed in legal soup. A group of men has filed a case against Samantha’s dance number. This controversy comes as the film is only a few days away from its release.

Getting into the details, the case has been filed in Andhra Pradesh by men’s association who have found the lyrics objectionable. The rue that the lyrics show men in a bad light as lascivious and have sought a ban on the song. The matter is yet to settle down in court.

The lyrics are penned by Chandrabose and composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The song has become an instant chartbuster with music lovers. The song has also given glimpses of Samantha’s oomph factor. However, the matter now having a legal entangle would have come as a shocker to the makers too.

How the makers respond to this issue is to be seen. Sukumar’s directorial Pushpa- Part 1 is all set for a grand release on December 17.
