Canada Company Brings 100 Million USD Investment To HyderabadThe Genome Valley in Hyderabad has got another massive investment. Ivanhoe Cambridge, a global real estate subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), one of Canada’s leading institutional funds is going to establish an MN park there.

The MN Park comes with an investment of USD 100 Million for the creation of about 1 million square feet of lab space. This transaction is one of the first such transactions by a pension fund in the life sciences real estate segment in South Asia and a benchmark for the sector in India.

The company representatives had a virtual meeting with Industries Minister, K Taraka Ramarao and updated their investment plans in the Genome Valley. “An investment of this nature in Hyderabad reinforces the leadership position in the life sciences sector,” KTR said after the meeting.

Genome Valley in Shamirpet of Hyderabad has been founded by Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh’s former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. It is the biggest research center for life sciences with 200 companies in the country.
