Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha which released the other day has opened to disastrous reviews. The film made a paltry Rs 11.50 crores on its opening day. Same is the case with Akshay’s Raksha Bandhan as well.
Laal Singh Chaddha’s first day tally is rather bleak. Now, the big question is, can Vijay Deverakonda humiliate Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha with Liger?
If Liger opens to a better tally than Laal Singh Chaddha’s Rs 11.5 Cr, it would mean that a South hero who is making his Bollywood debut would score better than an Aamir Khan starrer.
Liger has the desired mass appeal but it’s box office prospects can’t exactly be estimated just yet. It will all depend on the advances in mass belts across Northern India.
Liger is up for release on the 25th of this month and if it can actually open on a better note than Laal Singh Chaddha, it would be a humiliation for the latter.
