After the success of Raanjhnaa, and the popularity gained by Dhanush, more south actors are in demand in Bollywood. Recently, Ram Charan made his Bollywood debut in the remake of cult classic Zanjeer, which is yet to release. Priya Anand was recently seen in English Vinglish, Rangrezz and Fukrey. The biggest question can our south actors leave a mark in Bollywood?

While Dhanush may have impressed critics and fans alike in the north, but it’s not the same with other actors. We are yet to see whether Ram Charan will be accepted by Bollywood or not. If yes, then under what criteria?

Will commercialism work there or do we need to do offbeat films to gain attention. What will work in the favour of south Indian actors for a lasting career?

Other southern actors who have forayed into Bollywood include Prakash Raj, who was seen in Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham, Naseer, who will be seen in D-Day and Tamil actor Bharath, who recently joined the sets of Jackpot with Sunny Leone.
