There was lot of buzz around Pawan Kalyan’s block buster Gabbar Singh sequel. It was rumoured that Harish Shankar who directed the original version would direct the sequel and Pawan is keen on producing GS-2 on his own production house. But surprisingly Sampath Nandi who directed Ram Charan in Racha is confirmed to direct Gabbar Singh-2.
Though Racha has become a big commercial hit, Sampath Nandi couldn’t make his mark in the industry with his directorial skills. Attempting a block buster like Gabbar Singh sequel is a huge task. We will have to see how he would meet the expectations.
Pawan Kalyan’s close friend and his manager Sharat Maraar grabbed the opportunity to produce Gabbar Singh sequel. Rest of the crew will be announced soon. Shoot will commence from May.
