After a lack-luster 2019, 2020 has got a perfect start with the Sankranthi biggies – Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Both the movie have together raked more than 200 Crore Share which is sensational. However, the momentum is not carried forward with the next releases.
Disco Raja ended up as another disaster for Ravi Teja. The Republic Day advantage did not help at all. The other day, Aswathama and Choosi Choodangane have released but the talk and reviews have been disappointing. That means no film after the Sankranthi Releases managed to reach the expectations of the audience.
This is a golden opportunity for Sharwanand and Samantha’s Jaanu and Vijay Deverakonda’s World Famous Lover which will release in the next couple of weeks. It has to be seen if both films will be able to bring the audience to the theaters bringing cheer to the trade.
Usually, February is considered a dull period for movie releases as exams will be fast approaching for students.
