The upcoming three films of Pan-India Rebel Star Prabhas are Radhe Shyam, Prabhas21, and Prabhas22, aka Adipurush. However, if one were to follow the updates of the star Radhe Shyam is taking a backseat. At times it feels like it doesn’t exist.
By no means Radhe Shyam is a pushover. It is backed by UV Creations who are known for tremendous publicity, and yet, the movie finds it lagging way behind among audience perception. The latest situation presents another clear example.
It is the birthday of Prabhas in a couple of weeks. The news and updates regarding Prabhas21 and Adipurush are dominating the web. They are capturing the fans attention. They also seem to be keener to know about them.
The question, therefore, on everyone’s mind is how Radhe Shyam can bounce back. An official poster announcing the movie’s title was the last significant development related to it. The unit has now flown to Italy to resume the shooting. Everything seems silent on their side.
Prabhas has proven with Saaho that director is not an issue for the hype and openings of his film. However, when it comes to Radhe Shyam, it could be different if the makers don’t bring up their game. Unlike Saaho, they have two bigger projects to deal with featuring Prabhas.
When it’s the same hero, fans can always look up to the better project to pin their hopes. The ‘publicity’ generates that buzz and ‘hope’ among the fans. It would be visible in the openings, and that’s where the reality would emerge.
As fans are gearing up for Prabhas’s birthday on October 23rd, one hopes team Radhe Shyam has some ace up their sleeves. Otherwise, Prabhas21 and Adipurush (Prabhas22) could end up stealing their thunder. As it stands now, the fans are charged up for Prabhas21 update tomorrow (October 10th).
