Suppose the latest buzz doing the rounds regarding Pushpa is to be believed. In that case, it looks like the director and makers are toying with the idea of having Tarun do the dubbing for the villain played by Fahadh Faasil. It makes one wonder if the Pushpa team can take such a big risk.
It all started with Tarun surprising everyone with his dubbing artist avatar in Anukoni Athidi. It is the Telugu dubbed version of Malayalam thriller Athiran starring Fahadh Faasil and Sai Pallavi.
The fact that Tarun dubs for Fahadh in Anukoni Athidi and that he stars in Pushpa has added to the buzz. But, while Tarun has done a decent job, would it be the same for a big-screen movie?
The risk element here is the instantly recognisable voice of Tarun. When he dubs for a well-known face like Fahadh Faasil, his images flash in our mind. It could be very distracting to those who know Tarun. Remember, it was the same issue with Aakasham Nee Hadhu Ra, where Satyadev dubbed for Suriya.
No decision has been made so far, though. We have to wait and see how things pan out eventually. Sukumar directs Pushpa, which stars Allu Arjun in the title role. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine.
