Naga-chaitanya-Thank-you-Akkineni Naga Chaitanya‘s new film, Thank You, under the direction of Vikram K Kumar, which was scheduled for a July 8th release, has been postponed to July 22nd. Co-starring Raashi Khanna as the female lead, the film’s songs, and recently released teaser have been getting a dull response from the audience.

After delivering successful films like Majili, Love Story, and Bangarraju, the trade circles expected fireworks from Chay’s next film. Despite a decent director and good star cast, the hype for Thank You is as good as zero, which is quite unexpected.

Some are saying that the title Thank You lacks the X-factor, the music hasn’t clicked, the teaser hasn’t got the audience excited, and even the team of the film is making no efforts to create any buzz for the film.

Everyone wants to know what’s going on in producer Dil Raju’s mind for not promoting the film enough. Does he has a surprise up his sleeve, or has he already given up on the fate of the film?

The success of Thank You is very crucial for Naga Chaitanya as it would consolidate his position in Tollywood as a bankable hero. His last few films were successful, but the credit was shared equally by the star heroines and senior actors like Nag and Venky.

If Chay can single-handedly take Thank You to the winning post, then it will establish his credibility at the box office. It’s his best chance to prove his stamina, but the way the film is failing to create any buzz, it might turn out to be a liability in Chay’s career.
