This is the biggest debate on social media and in film circles these days. Ever since Allu Arjun has made heads turn with his role in Pushpa, everyone has started talking about when an actor like Mahesh Babu will even try to accept such bold and risky roles?
Mahesh has been picking roles that are quite commercial. His performance was also appreciated in films like Businessman, Maharshi, Bharath Ane Nenu, and Srimanthudu. But so far, Mahesh has not tried anything out of the box so far and molded his looks drastically.
Sukumar initially narrated Pushpa to Mahesh but he rejected it as per the talk. Imagine what would have happened if Mahesh did Pushpa?
Mahesh, seen in a rugged look and mass avatar, how would the fans had responded to it? For everything, there is a time and the fans would have also taken things to heart with his performance.
But will there be any director who would go to Mahesh with such roles is the big question? There is always fear as to whether Mahesh would accept such roles and go de-glam or play!
One thing is sure that Mahesh surely does not experiment and plays it safe. He has not showcased his rugged side or done anything out of the box and plays these posh roles always. As the masses are also loving him, there has not been any issues so far.
If he keeps on rejecting such roles and does not think big, there won’t be any great performances in his credit in the long run. Rajamouli is going to direct Mahesh and let’s hope that Rajamouli brings the best out of him.
