Allu Arjun-starrer “Iddarammayilatho” has raked in approximately Rs 34 crore nett in its first week in India. Made on a budget of Rs 45 crore, it is evident that the film is likely to break even in few days time. The big question is whether it can be the first Telugu film to make it to Rs. 50 crore league. At this rate, it is likely to make it in about two week’s time.
Despite mixed reviews from fans and audiences alike the film is doing exceptionally good business. On release day, it minted Rs. 12 crore in India, thus making it the best ever opening in the career of Allu Arjun.
All Arjun has never had such a big hit. While his last Julayi collected nearly Rs 40 crores at the box-office, Badrinath was another film that had a decent run at the ticket window. We will have to wait and see if the film can after all make it to the prestigious club.
