When it comes to ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’, the cricket god is already immensely popular all over the world and has billions of fans worldwide. The autobiographical docudrama is going to come to theatres soon and the producer of this movie Ravi Bhagchandaka says that their Baahubali (Sachin: A Billion Dreams) will demolish the records of ‘Baahubali 2’.
Going by the popularity Sachin enjoys, the makers are perfect in their own right. But then, it’s a docudrama, a genre which is not like an entertaining movie and hence a novel genre for Indian audiences. Will common audiences embrace this docudrama and make it much bigger than Baahubali? Highly doubtful.
