Ace filmmaker S.S Rajamouli left to Shanghai film festival for the screening of his highly successful film Eega. It is said that the film will be screened five times during the course of the festival. The maverick filmmaker doesn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to promote his upcoming film Baahubali. Rajamouli wants to explore new avenues and opportunities for the film, which is a period flick featuring Anushka Shetty, Rana and Prabhas.
Rajamouli has become a prominent face in several international festivals after Eega was selected for five festivals such Cannes, Shanghai, Busan, Madrid and Buchon. This is the highest recognition for a Telugu film ever at international film festivals.
At few festivals, Eega is competing for the best film award too. If it manages to win then it will be a proud moment for not only Telugu industry, but for the entire Indian cinema.
