The campaigning time for candidates contesting for MP and MLA positions in Seema Andhra region is complete by 6 PM. According to the rules, the campaign should end 48 hours before the polling ends. All the politics parties have fielded their complete ammunition to score a win in the first election of Seema Andhra after the state bifurcation. While YS Jagan, Vijayamma and Sharmila led the YSR Congress’ campaign, TDP’s campaign was headed by Pawan Kalyan and Balakrishna.
Pawan Kalyan is a total revelation in this elections. The actor who launched his Jana Sena party did not contest this election in order to not to split votes. He campaigned for the TDP+BJP combine across the length and breadth of the state. He struck a chord particularly with the youth voters. The actor lashed out at the corruption of YS Jagan efficiently which gave ample scope for Chandra Babu to focus on taking his agenda in to people.
On the other side, Chiranjeevi was the lone star campaigner for Congress which is a sinking ship in Seema Andhra. The elder brother is completely clueless and is of no match to Pawan Kalyan. Analysts foresee further jump in Pawan Kalyan’s political graph when the results will be out on May 16th.
