Marking the occasion of Trivikram’s birthday today, Sithara Entertainments, who are more like a home banner to the former have dropped the teaser of their upcoming film, Butta Bomma.
Right from the outset, it can be understood that Butta Bomma is a rural love drama evidently set on near-to-life commoners. Young actress Anikha Surendran plays the all-important female lead in the film.
The teaser starts with the establishment of budding love between the characters played by Anikha and Surya Vasishta. They are seen as villagers. Anikha hopes to become famous by doing tiktoks with her singing talent, while Surya tried to woo her. Then comes the conflict with Arjun Das who is on a mission to thrash Surya. This is where the other side of love track is established. This is what we get on the plot front from the teaser.
The visuals look good, as has been the case with all of Sithara’s production ventures. The BGM is soothing. The rural love drama is the USP of the film and its box office verdict will depend on how the audience will receive the same.
Kappela had everything right from casting to the narrative on point. In case of Butta Bomma, the same factors will be keenly watched. The film will have to get the casting and nativity on point to win the appreciation of Telugu audience.
