Nayantara’s upcoming movie ‘Imaikaa Nodigal’ has garnered a good buzz as the promotional material of the movie had set the right track for the publicity of the movie. Popular Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap who played the villain in AR Murugadoss directorial ‘Akira’ is essaying the villain in this movie.
Initially, it was director Gautham Menon who was expected to do the role. This film, which is a crime thriller revolves around the murder of six individuals from well-to-do families and Nayantara will be seen as a CBI officer from Bengaluru. Besides Nayan and Anurag Kashyap, young actor Atharvaa and Rashi Khanna are playing the other important characters.
This is a female-centric movie with Nayan playing the protagonist. The actress has proved many times that she has the capability of carrying an entire film’s burden on her shoulders without any star hero’s name attached as the hero of a movie.
