Brewing Controversy Over Vijay Deverakonda's “Hero” In Telugu And TamilIf the sudden midnight announcement of the new film, of Vijay Deverakonda, came as a surprise, there seems to be an explainable reason for it. A new movie has been announced ‘now’ and it gives is a clear idea.

It is simple to think. Two movies have been announced with the same title Hero in different languages Telugu and Tamil, on the same day. The Telugu Hero stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead whereas the Tamil one features Siva Karthikeyan. PS Mitran of Abhimanyudu fame will helm the latter. Usually, the title shouldn’t be a problem as they belong to different languages. But here both the Hero’s are planned as multilingual ventures.

Did the makers of respective films knew about the other one happening or was it a mere coincidence. The midnight announcement out of blue makes one wonder if it was the former case. The shooting of Vijay Deverakonda’s Hero will begin from April 22nd in New Delhi. Anand Annamalai makes his debut as the director with the movie produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It will have a simultaneous release in all four South Indian languages.
