Khaidi No 150 has been sold for 10.5 Cr where as Gautamiputra Satakarni is sold for 4.5 Cr. It means the Khaidi has to do over 2 Million while GPS has to cross 1 Million. Chiranjeevi is an unknown identity and neither Balakrishna nor Krish despite good talks in the past got big numbers.
This year the US box office begun with a bang with three out for four films emerging as success. If we strictly look at numbers then the combined gross of Sankranti 2016 is next only to Baahubali. That’s how big it was. 2017, as of now looks impossible to repeat that feat. If word of mouth isn’t appealing, the loses could be even bigger. Let’s see if the films manage to throw some surprise.
