Apart from directing movies, Maruthi provides stories or ideas from time to time, so that others can make a film out of it. Brand Babu is one such effort from Maruthi.
If the title was not enough of an indication, the trailer hammers the brand point to the hilt. Basically, it is a rich guy poor girl stereotype presented with a Maruthi ‘branding’. Some funny gags work, otherwise, the trailer itself feels repetitive after a point. The Maruthi mark fun moments could provide moments of relief though.
