Brahmin Director Made Allu Arjun a VegetarianAllu Arjun’s next project ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ tells the story of a Brahmin boy and to prepare for the role, the actor turned vegetarian. Apparently, Arjun hasn’t eaten meat for the past six months and is taking the role quite seriously.

The film recently released its first look and received mixed reviews. There is a lot of speculation in the media as the film could be controversial because it revolves around the life of a Brahmin. But makers clarified that no jokes or derogatory comments regarding Brahmins are there in the movie. The director, Harish Shankar, himself is a Brahmin and will not do injustice to his community.

While there have been several films where they make fun of Brahmins, the source stated that “DJ is the answer to those who mock the community.” That’s a good sign.
