The latest news is that Bollywood star Akshay Kumar had been badly humiliated in connection with his latest theatrical outing Selfiee, which is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Driving License.
The opening day nett of Selfiee is said to be around Rs 2 crore. This is one of the all time humiliating collections for a star hero film in Bollywood.
Akshay Kumar, in particular appears to have completely lost box office appeal. All his recent films are monstrous disasters of epic proportions. Now, his new film, Selfiee has collection only pennies at the box office.
This is the kind of opening a tier-3 Telugu hero can get with a decently hyped film. This speaks about the kind of decline Akshay Kumar is witnessing.
