KGF 2 has created a sensation at the Hindi box office. The film has beaten the mighty Baahubali 2 at the Hindi box office. The advance bookings for KGF 2 are now higher than Baahubali 2’s.
Up until yesterday, Baahubali 2 held the highest advance bookings ever for any Indian film in the Hindi belt – Rs 37.53 crores nett.
Now, KGF 2 has reportedly breached Baahubali 2’s tally by a comfortable 15% margin. It is estimated that KGF 2’s nett advance booking collections in Hindi are around Rs 38-39 crores.
The hiked ticket prices have done the trick for KGF 2 as there is a considerable disparity between the ticket fares for Baahubali 2 and KGF 2.
When it comes to footfalls, Baahubali 2 is well ahead of KGF 2. The Rajamouli directorial registered 25% more footfalls than KGF 2, as reported by a reputed Bollywood box office tracking portal.
Mass belts like Odisha, and Gujarat are said to be registering excellent revenues for KGF 2.
With the arrival of KGF 2, the top two openers in Hindi theatrical circuit are both South Indian films – KGF 2 and Baahubali 2.
