The year 2021 started off with a great promise in Tollywood, with the theatre business slowly getting a boost with good releases every week. The very first release of 2021, Krack, was a major success and further boosted the theatre business.
Ever since then, every week has had some or the other interesting release. However, this week is going to be different, with no notable release. With the second wave of Coronavirus spreading fast, several filmmakers are thinking twice before releasing their film. As a result, Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story has been postponed, and the future of the next films is still unknown.
The only upcoming film that has a notable cast is RGV’s Deyyam, but there’s no buzz surrounding the film. Apart from that, there is 99 songs, which is music Legend AR Rahman’s maiden production, but there’s zero buzz for the film in Telugu.
Apart from 99 Songs, unknown small films like CheckMate, Itlu Anjali, Sarvam Siddam, and Tempt Raja ready to release this week. If Tuck Jagdish will release on April 23rd as scheduled, then that will be the only noteworthy release in the next two weeks.
