Kaala-RajinikanthFake calls and death threats aren’t new to celebrities in the political and cine fields. However, security officials can’t take the threat calls for granted. On Saturday, Chennai police received a call from an unknown number that he had planted bombs at the CM’s residence.

When the police were immediately looking into the matter, another call from the same caller claimed that he had planted bombs at Rajinikanth’s residence even. The police were quick to complete the security check with the help of the bomb squads at the residences of the CM and the superstar.

Finally, both the threats were found out to be false and the phone number was traced to the defaulter. Though for now the security personnel heaved a sigh of relief, there would certainly be a big concern ahead of the audio launch event of ‘Kaala’ scheduled to happen on 9th May.
