Bollywood remade Ravi Teja’s most successful film ‘Kick’ with the same title in Hindi starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez as leads. And we know the result. It became a block buster hit, the biggest one for Salman Khan. While our Telugu ‘Kick 2’ is almost ready for release, Salman’s ‘Kick 2’ is in conceptualising stage.
This time, Bollywood producer Sajid Nadaidwala doesn’t want to buy the remake rights of ‘Kick’ sequel from Telugu makers but want to make the film with an entirely different story. Salman is going to pen the story, prepare the script and choose a different star cast for the sequel.
Since the script work would take 2 years or more, producer Sajid Nadiadwala wants ‘Kick 2’ for an Eid release in 2017. In Bollywood, once they fix a date, film makers try to meet the scheduled date not to lose the credibility.
