As far as Tollywood is concerned, every single film that was scheduled to release in the upcoming weeks, and in the summer season has been postponed due to the second wave of Coronavirus. Theatres in Maharashtra have even been shut down. However, there is one actor who is braving the second wave of the pandemic and deciding to release his film for Eid.
Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan’s Radhe is all set to release on May 13th, on the occasion of Eid. This film will be releasing in theatres and on OTT platforms as well, on a pay-per-view basis. This is the first time that a massive budget film is opting for this kind of release in India. While a lot of people were shocked by the decision of the makers, it will be interesting to see what kind of results this will yield.
On the other hand, the trailer of Radhe dropped today, and the most surprising part of it was totally unexpected. Salman Khan has used Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s superhit song Seetimaar, from Bunny’s 2017 film Duvvada Jagannadham. The song was featured throughout the trailer, but particularly near the 1:09 mark. This was a welcome surprise to all Telugu audiences.
This is the second time that Salman Khan has used Bunny’s song, as he previously used Ringa Ringa for the Hindi remake of Ready. It will definitely be interesting to watch Salman Khan dance to the Hindi version of Seetimaar.
