Prabhas-Salaar-Hrithik-Roshan-FighterPrabhas rattled his Hindi market with back-to-back duds like Saaho and Radhe Shyam. Saaho did fairly well but it was mostly due to Baahubali hype. Radhe Shyam was a washout. Now, he is pinning hopes on Adipurush and Salaar, which are expected to do well in the Hindi belt and possibly revive Prabhas’s market there.

Coming to the topic, a mainstream Bollywood biggie, Fighter, featuring Hrithik Roshan has made way for Salaar now.

Incidentally, Salaar and Fighter were announced for release on the same day – 28th September 2023. But now, Fighter has altered the release plan and has been postponed to January 25, 2024.

Salaar marks the coming together of Prabhas and KGF director Prashanth Neel. Prashanth shook Hindi market with KGF 2. Now that he’s coming with Prabhas, Salaar is expected to go on a rampage in the mass belts across Northern India, along with the customary South market.

There’s still a long time to go and any other film might contemplate Salaar’s release slot, given that it has 5-day long weekend advantage. But that looks unlikely after everyone saw what Neel’s KGF 2 did in Hindi.
