Actors Samantha and Manoj Bajpayee are among the speakers at the International Film Festival of India being organised in Goa from November 20-28. Film director Aruna Raje, actor John Edathattil, and director Vivek Agnihotri are the other speakers.
Interestingly, Samantha is the first South Indian actress to be invited as the Speaker at IFFI. This is not a recognition for an actress from the South but Samantha had earned it with her maiden OTT Project, The Familyman 2. She has become a name to remember in Bollywood after that.
And this may be also an indication that the actress’s Bollywood prospects are going to be bright in the coming days. The last we heard is that Samantha is going to sign her maiden Hindi film in Tapsee’s home production. But there is no official confirmation about the project from both the sides.
Meanwhile, Samantha already has two projects announced after the divorce. One of the two projects Samantha has announced is a romantic fantasy and the other is a thriller. Samantha will be next seen in Gunasekhar’s Period film, Shakuntalam for which the release date is yet to be announced.
