There is a furry of abusive tweets on IBN with a hash tag #ShameOnIBN from the fans and the retaliation was so strong that the hash tag began to trend on Twitter and Rajdeep Sardesai, the Editor in Chief of the channel had finally succumbed to pressure and tendered an apology to Mega Star and his fans. He tweeted, “Sorry folks for tweeting post gnight! Had to respond to #chirufans . Respect their right to be heard, but not to censor! Gnight”.
