The Tamil version of SS Rajamouli’s Eega, Naan Ee had a dream run in Tamil Nadu. The movie had released in record number of 43 screens in Chennai city and 7 more screens were added in the next 2 days. Interestingly. the Tamil version, Naan Ee and Telugu version Eega were ranked 1st and 3rd at Kollywood box office for the first week of its release.
But Ajith’s Billa-2 which is releasing tomorrow had clipped the wings of Eega in Tamil Nadu. All most all the multiplexes in Tamil Nadu are screening record number of shows for Billa-2 and Naan Ee was pushed to second rung theaters. Trade experts believe that Eega might get few screens back after the first weekend of Billa-2.
