There are three, sorry, four films releasing this Sankranthi. All we are hearing so far is how the two biggies Khaidi No 150 and Gautamiputra Satakarni are fighting it out for getting the best and larger number of screens.
So far it is clear that Khaidi No 150 is getting the best and highest number of theaters thanks to better distributors backing the film. This aspect is frustrating the Nandamuri fans a bit but they must remember here that a year ago, it was them who enjoyed a similar position.
Amidst all these hooplas there is one film which is completely unfazed. The film is Shatamanam Bhavati and this Sharwanand starrer team is calm and relaxed because it is backed by Dil Raju. He has made sure the family entertainer has required amount of screens all over and not just for the opening day but also for the complete run, a fact that is currently not been looked into.
It is important that the movie with better talk gets the increase in screens as the days progress. If Nandamuri fans feel they are shortchanged on opening, they must have confidence in the content. Remember Soggade Chinni Nayana last year which had a very low release but theaters kept getting added and the film grew from strength to strength. Can Gautamiputra Satakarni team hope for that or will Khaidi No.150 be too strong for them? We will know very soon.
