A small movie throwing the biggest surprise of this year so far is ‘Jathi Rathnalu‘ in the US market. In four days, the movie has surpassed the collections of a superstar like Vijay Thalapathy.’s Sankranthi hit ‘Master’ and thus becomes the highest grosser, so far.
According to the trade sources, the movie will collect $750 K by this weekend and that itself says that it’s going to be the biggest blockbuster collecting such a big amount in the post-COVID arena. Right now, the movie will end up around million mark but if there was no COVID it’s a two million dollar film in the U.S.
This movie will be the most successful films after ‘Geetha Govindam’, ‘Pelli Choopulu’, ‘Arjun Reddy’, ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Mahanati’ in the US and thus giving big hope to all the films coming that if the content is good, the US audiences would be coming out to watch it in the theatres.
Except for Nag Ashin as the producer of the movie, ‘Jathi Rathnalu’ has no big names attached to it. But, the director’s execution and Naveen Polishetty’s act carrying the entire movie on his shoulders with his performance has made it an entertaining watch.
